🇻🇳 Vietnamese integrated agritech platform Techcoop secured $70 million Series A funding. Its platform offers end-to-end solutions tailored to export-oriented supply chains, and is designed to support sustainable farming practices while bolstering Vietnam’s food security.
🦠 Spore.Bio raised $23 million in a Series A funding round led by Singular. It specialises in AI-powered microbiology testing, and plans to scale and prepare for commercialisation of its rapid, on-site contamination testing device for food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
🌾 Decibel Bio emerged from stealth with $12 million in funding to develop the world's first crop epigenetic platform, enabling farmers to reprogram plant traits in real time for improved yield, efficiency, and resilience to environmental stresses without genetic modification.
🌱 Avalo, a North Carolina-based startup specialising in AI-powered plant breeding, raised an $11 million Series A round and partnered with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners to develop climate-resilient sugarcane varieties that require less water and fertiliser, aiming to enhance sustainability in sugar production.

☀️ Finnish startup Solar Foods secured an additional €10 million from Business Finland to support the development, regulatory approval, and commercialisation of its Solein protein, and also introduced Solein® Protein Bites, a new protein snack concept designed for the health and performance nutrition market in the US.

🌾 Nitricity raised $10 million to build a sustainable nitrogen fertiliser plant in Delhi, California, using a new process that combusts nutrient-rich organic almond shells and combines them with air, water, and renewable energy to create its “Ash Tea” fertiliser.
🧑🌾 Regenerative and natural products company GoodSAM Foods raised $9 million Series A funding, in a round led by ALIVE Ventures and Desert Bloom, to expand its team, develop new products, and scale its “direct trade” model, which ensures fair wages for smallholder farmers by bypassing middlemen.

🇨🇦 Plant-based seafood company Konscious Foods received C$5 million from the Canadian government to scale up manufacturing and expand globally, amid growing threats to British Columbia’s salmon industry.
🫖 Drinks startup MISSION extended its equity fundraising round to £2 million, including investment from F1 driver Pierre Gasly, as it continues disrupting the soft drinks market with its 100% natural, zero-sugar energy drinks and performance teas.

🍳 UK-based Citizens of Soil raised £1.8 million seed funding to expand its premium olive oil brand, including launching its Olive Oil Club subscription service in international markets.

🇨🇦 Natural Products Canada has invested $1.7 million into seven Canadian startups developing bio-based and natural products, including Chinova Bioworks, which is creating a natural antimicrobial from cranberries to extend food shelf life, and BioSun Solutions, which has developed a herbal biofungicide for safer crop protection.

💵 The Canadian Government has allocated CAD 1 million to the Cellular Agriculture Prairies Ecosystem Project, a new initiative that will establish a research and innovation network across the Prairie provinces to advance biomanufacturing using local agricultural resources.

🪸 Malaysia-based Seadling closed its seed funding round with $1 million. It produces sustainable seaweed-based functional ingredients, and will use the funding to support its expansion plans.

🇮🇳 Indian plant-based nutrition brand Earthful raised INR 5 crore in a funding round led by Srinivasan Namala, with participation from Ritesh Agarwal, to support R&D, brand expansion, and leadership growth.

💸 Steakholder Foods secured new funding through a private placement agreement and an equity line of credit with Alumni Capital LP, including an immediate $1.25 million injection and access to an additional $8 million. It will use the funds to support its growth plans.

💊 Gut health brand Supergut secured a “significant growth equity investment” from Full Frame Growth Partners as it expands retail distribution and grows sales of its powders, bars, and shakes formulated with resistant starches and prebiotic fibres, designed to support GLP-1 production.
