🚰 Swiss startup BE WTR raised CHF 39 million Series C funding to further its mission of providing sustainable, premium water solutions while reducing single-use packaging and plastics for the residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.

🚜 Italy's xFarm Technologies raised €36 million, in a Series C funding round led by Partech, to expand its “better farm management” platform across the EU, Turkey, India, and beyond, while developing new fintech divisions and products. 🇫🇷 French plant-based meat startup La Vie secured €25 million following 192% sales growth YOY, taking its total funding to date to €50 million, and announced the launch of its vegan meatballs.

💸 The JackFruit Company, the company behind the Jack & Annie’s brand, raised $5 million in a Series B extension to expand its jackfruit-based meat alternatives across retail, foodservice, and industrial markets.

🍻 Danish startup Bemakers secured €3.5 million seed funding to help beverage brands distribute directly to international customers. It will use the funds to expand into new markets.

🫑 The UK’s Pulse Crop Genetic Improvement Network received £3 million from the government to develop climate resilient legumes. It will use the funds to support research into tackling threats from pests and diseases, as well as improving nutritional traits.

🍷 Moderato 0%, based in France, raised €3 million to “revolutionise the wine industry” with its premium alcohol-free wines. It will use the funds to further expand its operations.

🔬 Planetary SA secured a CHF 3 million investment from Cosun to advance the development of sustainable, cost-effective food ingredients made via fermentation.

🇹🇷 Turkish cloud kitchen software startup Paket Mutfak secured $2.7 million to further expand its operations. It currently operates 15 branches in Istanbul, delivering over 130,000 monthly meals across ten food brands.

🇫🇮 Munchfam, based in Finland, secured €600,000 to “reduce the restaurant failure rate” with its service platform that combines cutting-edge digital tools, plug ‘n’ play brands, and high-quality ingredients.

🥚 Barcelona-based UOBO raised €500,000 seed funding to develop new products and expand its operations, following the successful launch of its liquid plant-based eggs made from canola and potato protein.

🇮🇱 Better Pulse received $400,000 from the Israel Innovation Authority's Boost Pre-Seed track to accelerate development of its Black-eyed pea protein, which it says offers superior nutrition and a neutral taste.

🍫 British cocoa-free chocolate startup Nukoko secured investment from German food manufacturing specialist Döhler to scale its bean-to-bar chocolate made from fava beans, ahead of a planned market launch in 2025.

🏎️ Formula One legend Lewis Hamilton made a second investment in plant-based pet food startup Bramble, partnering with the brand to promote the health benefits of vegan diets for dogs.

🦁 nÿcha kombucha got a deal on ‘Die Höhle der Löwen Schweiz’, Switzerland’s shark tank for their refreshing and health-conscious beverage.

🍫 California Cultured, which uses plant cell culture to produce flavanol-rich cocoa, secured “significant investment” from Sparkalis to help transform cocoa production in a market where “demand is expected to dramatically exceed supply”.
